Here at The Hope and Anchor, Wirksworth we have 3 luxury en-suite bedrooms for you to choose from for your perfect stay here in the heart of the peak district. Choose from our Deluxe King Suite, Luxury King Room or Cosy Double.
Both our Luxury King Room & Cosy Double are also Dog Friendly, so you can bring your furry friend along with you. We do ask you bring your own Dog Bed, as we provide a rug and water bowl.
You can check in from 3pm and standard check out is 12 noon.
Car parking is available on the market place car park next to the pub, this is a pay and display car park charged at £6 for 24 hours.

Budworth
The "Budworth" is our Luxury King Suite named after the family who ran the H&A from 1841-1901, this is the largest of the 3 rooms, with an ample sized en-suite bathroom, with walk-in shower (there are 2 steps up). The "Budworth" features an ornate plastered ceiling and fireplace, King Sized Bed, snuggle chair, along with mini fridge, Smart TV, hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities and Wi-Fi.
Within the bathrooms we provide locally sourced, environmentally friendly and vegan products, such as shampoo, body wash and hand soap.
The room itself has plenty of room for extra beds or a cot.
This Room is completely Dog FREE! No Dogs will be allowed in this room.
This Room is available from £120
Sunday-Thursday Nights.

Ardwick
The "Ardwick" is a King Sized Room named after the family who ran the H&A in 1846, a large room, with an ample sized en-suite bathroom, with walk-in shower (there are 2 steps up). The "Ardwick" exposed brickwork and a fireplace, King Sized Bed, along with mini fridge, Smart TV, hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities and Wi-Fi.
Within the bathrooms we provide locally sourced, environmentally friendly and vegan products, such as shampoo, body wash and hand soap.
There is space in this room for an additional cot.
This room is also Dog Friendly, dogs are charged at £20 per night.

Poyser
The "Poyser" is our Cosy Double room, named after Samuel Poyser who ran the H&A from 1821 until 1835 when it was taken over by Elizabeth Hunt. This room is very quirky with a four poster Double Bed, large en-suite bathroom with a large walk-in shower, mini fridge in the bedroom, Smart TV, tea and coffee making facilities and Wi-Fi.
Within the bathrooms we provide locally sourced, environmentally friendly and vegan products, such as shampoo, body wash and hand soap.
There is also space for an additional cot.
This room is also Dog Friendly, dogs are charged at £20 per night.
